Tips for Tire Maintenance

Schedule Service

You've been driving your Jaguar F-PACE for long enough to know that it is a performance machine. It was built to be powerful, exciting, and sporty. Getting the proper tires that can handle all that speed is critical to its operation, but often our customers are at a loss. What can you do to ensure the right tires are on your vehicle? How can you spot trouble before it becomes an inconvenience?

Knowing When to Replace Your Tires

There's no good time to be stuck with a flat, and with our help, you can hope to avoid disaster and experience smooth driving for the duration of your lease. Here are some important factors to keep in mind when checking out your tires.

  • Ensure proper inflation -- Your tires have specific inflation needs, which can be found on a placard on the inside of the driver's side door of your Jaguar E-PACE. Your owner's manual can also help.
  • Get the right kind -- Your tires will tell you what to replace them with, and the letters and numbers tell you more than you may think, such as the type of vehicle, speed rating, width, and more.
  • Knowing something is up -- If cracking, bulging, or uneven tread wear are spotted, contact us immediately for a replacement set. The same is true if you see the tread splitting from the tire body.
  • Rotation, rotation, rotation -- Having your tires rotated with each oil change is the gold standard for your Jaguar XF, but you can rely on us to help you decide if you need them sooner or less frequently.
  • Penny test -- This old test is done by placing a penny upside down into your tire's tread. If the tread does not reach the top of the head, you should let us know because you may have low tread wear.
